Planning beats paperwork
Once 30 June passes, most decisions that affect the year’s tax are locked in. Trust resolutions, contribution timing and many deductions must be in place by year end.
A planning meeting in April or May gives time to act, and lets you budget for the tax you will pay.

Business Tax Planning: common questions
When should we meet for tax planning?
Ideally in April or May, once you have nine or ten months of figures, so there’s time to act before 30 June.
Is tax planning about avoiding tax?
No. It’s about paying the right amount, using the options the law allows, and having no surprises. We don’t recommend aggressive schemes.
Do you include personal tax in the plan?
Yes. Business and personal tax are linked, so we plan both together.
